ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံနဲ႔ ျမန္မာျပည္သူေတြအတြက္ ကိုယ္က်ဳိးစြန္႔ေဆာင္ရြက္လႈပ္ရွားေနသူ အမ်ဳိးသမီး ေခါင္းေဆာင္ႏွစ္ဦးကို ဥေရာပႏိုင္ငံက ဂုဏ္ထူးေဆာင္ဆုတဆု ခ်ီးျမွင့္။ ဥေရာပမွာ အထင္ရွားဆံုး ဆုတခုျဖစ္တဲ့ စပိန္ႏိုင္ငံက ဂုဏ္သိကၡာအရွိဆံုး Catalonia International ဂုဏ္ထူးေဆာင္ဆုကို ျမန္မာ့ဒီမိုကေရစီေခါင္းေဆာင္ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္နဲ႔ ထိုင္းႏိုင္ငံ မဲေဆာက္ၿမိဳ႔ မယ္ေတာ္ေဆးခန္း တည္ေထာင္သူ ေဒါက္တာစင္သီယာေမာင္တို႔ကို ခ်ီးျမွင့္ျခင္း ျဖစ္သည္။ ေဒၚစုကိုယ္စားကို Burma Campaign UK မွ ျမန္မာ့အေရးလႈပ္ရွားသူ ဇိုရာဖန္းမွ လက္ခံရယူမည္။ စပိန္ႏိုင္ငံ Catalonia ျပည္နယ္ၿမိဳ႔ေတာ္ ဘာစီလိုနားတြင္ ႏို၀င္ဘာ ၁၁ ရက္ ေဒသစံေတာ္ခ်ိန္ ည ၇ နာရီ၌ ဆုေပးပြဲ အခမ္းအနား က်င္းပမည္။

The call for the 21st edition of the Catalonia International Prize is open

The organising body of the Catalonia International Prize has opened the call for nominations for the 21st Catalonia International Prize 2009. Proposals must be submitted to the Prize Secretariat by 31 December 2008.

The Catalonia International Prize, awarded by the Generalitat of Catalonia, is endowed with an award of 100,000 euros and the sculpture La clau i la lletra (The key and the Letter) of Antoni Tàpies. It is awarded annually to any person whose creative work has made a significant contribution to the development of cultural, scientific or human values anywhere in the world.

The president of the Generalitat, José Montilla, presents their award during a ceremony at the Palau de la Generalitat in Barcelona.
